Cocoa farming is at a crossroads. While Tony's Open Chain builds on years of experience with a tested model that leads to tangible results, we recognised that an evolution was needed in our living income approach to meet the challenges ahead.

Tony's Open Chain is committed to understanding and addressing the challenges faced by cocoa farmers in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. As part of our efforts to drive meaningful change, we have conducted a comprehensive analysis of the Multi-Dimensional Poverty Index (MPI) among our partner cooperatives from 2019 to 2023.

Speaking up, also known as whistleblowing, is the reporting of suspected wrongdoing or dangers in relation to our activities. This includes violating our Code of Conduct, bribery, fraud or other criminal activity, facilitation of tax evasion, miscarriages of justice, health and safety risks, damage to the environment and any breach of legal or professional obligations. In our Speak Up Policy, you can find more information on how to raise your concern, how we follow up on the report, our principles for protection and who will deal with the reporting.
