Tony's Open Chain Multi-Dimensional Poverty Index Report
Tony's Open Chain is committed to understanding and addressing the challenges faced by cocoa farmers in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. As part of our efforts to drive meaningful change, we have conducted a comprehensive analysis of the Multi-Dimensional Poverty Index (MPI) among our partner cooperatives from 2019 to 2023.
Tony's Open Chain Speak Up Policy
Speaking up, also known as whistleblowing, is the reporting of suspected wrongdoing or dangers in relation to our activities. This includes violating our Code of Conduct, bribery, fraud or other criminal activity, facilitation of tax evasion, miscarriages of justice, health and safety risks, damage to the environment and any breach of legal or professional obligations. In our Speak Up Policy, you can find more information on how to raise your concern, how we follow up on the report, our principles for protection and who will deal with the reporting. (The French version of this policy is coming soon!)Â
Human rights & environmental due diligence
Following the first good steps of due diligence efforts, as voted by the EU Parliament, Tony's Open Chain urges the British Parliament and the American Congress to adopt their own regulatory frameworks to hold companies accountable for human rights and environmental violations in their supply chains.
