What is Tony's Open Chain?
Tony's Open Chain is the cocoa impact engine for Tony's Chocolonely and its Mission Allies, propelling systemic change in the cocoa sector. Started in 2019, Tony’s Open Chain’s mission is to ensure cocoa households achieve a living income, eradicate child labour, and protect forests by enabling responsible business conduct. Tony's Open Chain invites cocoa companies to join its mission and source cocoa beans according to Our Sourcing Principles. This pre-collaborative approach allows partners to compete on chocolate while working together towards ending exploitation in the cocoa industry in their supply chain.
